Olivier Reigen Wang-Genh : was born in April 1955 and started to practice Zazen at the age of 17. In March 1977 he received his monks ordination by Master Taisen Deshimaru.
After the death of Master Deshimaru in 1982, Olivier Reigen became responsible for the zen centre in strasbourg in 1985 and began to create about 15 Dojos in the east of France and in the south west of Germany.
He is one of the Godo who are in charge for the "Association Zen Internationale" and for the teachings at the zen temple "la Gendronnière". With his numerous lectures, presentations and Sesshin he continues each year to spread the Zen Buddhism in Europe.
He received the Dharma (Shiho) from Master Dosho Saikawa and is a Dendokyoshi (missionary monk) of the school of Soto Zen, thus, he is authorized to teach.
Since 1999 he concentrates on establishing the Temple Ko San Ryu Mon Ji in Weiterswiller, where he also lives.
